On Friday, upon being picked up from afterschool care.
Me: "So how was your day? Did you have a good first week of school?"
Ella: "Yes, mama, but its time to stop playing and do our work. We played too much this week!"
I think she doesn't realize that though they seem to be playing they are learning. In 4 days they'd already had 3 days of PE, 1 day of Art and 1 day of Music. And they say public schools are no good :)
