The Girl is 4!

I know that I am biased, but its official - she is the cutest kid I know! Well, another year has come and gone. I can't believe just 4 years ago our lives were dramatically altered by the addition of one little girl, but tis true. May is such a busy month for us. Hubby's mom birthday. The girls birthday. Our anniversary. Mother's Day. Hubby's birthday. I need to take deep breaths just thinking about it. I guess that is what Yoga class is for (though that is a whole other story).

I have to say the very best part of the entire birthday celebration came on the day we took in the cupcakes we had made and decorated together to Miss. Jeannie's for her school friends. As we were loading up to go to school, she says to me "mama, you are my best mama EVER!" So what I am her only mom, she meant it as the highest of compliments.

New word of the week - Deflated. Learned in reference to the balloons dying a slow death around the house!
