Well it is not what we hoped for but pretty much what we expected. The fluid pressing on the baby's left lung is back. Every bit as much as before. Makes me kind of wonder why they drained it at all, except maybe the hope that it would stay gone. They say it could take up to 3 drains. Still, I worry because now we are in the lung development phase. What if the baby's lung just doesn't develop? Fortunately the right lung looks good. The heart looks good.
So what's next. Another sonogram Monday. If it is stable, we wait until Thursday for another thoracentesis. If it is not stable, i.e. more fluid, they will do an immediate thorocentesis on Monday afternoon. So more waiting .... till 3:30 Monday at least.
