Oh what a difference a year makes. Today marks the first day of First Grade ... ever ... hopefully. Well, at least for Ella. Her main concern: "I am a little afraid of 1st grade. I hope I do well."
Methinks is she's worried about doing well she'll do fine. She is SO my daughter.
Her chief complaint at the end of the day: "Mama, I am a little sad that today was so short. It went way too fast!"
Oh and regarding her teacher, "She's not too much fun, but 
she is nice."

Congratulations, Ella, on starting first grade. Wow--time flies! And I agree: since she's worried about doing well, she really has nothing to worry about. :)
