Writer's Block

I have nothing to say. I blame winter. (Even though it has been gloriously delightful for several days now, my brain knows its a ruse). I am grateful that Max's birthday is at the tailend of January because it has extended the TOLERABLE holiday season for me. Thanksgiving - January 30 is now an ok time. However I have little or no use for January 31st through oh say March 15th.

I like seasons, but I think I would be very happy with 3 seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall. A week of winter. Then Spring again. SUMMER. Fall. Repeat.

Fortunately, I have some travel coming up, so if I can survive February I should be good to go until at least October!

• Vancouver in March. Work trip with a little bit of fun.
• The Beach with my buddy KK in May.
• St. John in June (we leave the day after Ella's last day of school --- so help me if it snows and they extend school she'll just miss the last couple of days). It's first grade for goodness sakes!
• DC in August for work. The big work conference this year is local. Fun times.
• The Beach again in September with the family (Yes, Ella will be missing a few days of 2nd grade for this. It is 2nd grade for goodness sakes - do we sense a theme?)
