Doozie, or is it Doozy? I don't know ... but whichever whatever ... the last few days have been one. Max was sick but I don't think I can blame what I ended up getting on him. His was breathing related. Mine was more like head in a vice with a side of death warmed over. It is pretty much the sickest I've felt in a very long time. Wednesday I felt pretty crappy, Thursday I almost made it through an entire day of work before bailing, Friday I managed to log 2/3 of a telework day before totally wimping out and drugging myself and taking to bed. Tylenol PM Cold and Cough has been my best friend. If nothing else I am able to sleep.
Saturday, though I felt better (relatively speaking), my voice went. Probably for the best as all I could do pretty much was whine.
In the midst of all of this we managed to go to closing on our refinance. We dropped our interest one point and went from a 30 to a 20 year loan. So just about when Max graduates from college, provided he's on the 4 year plan, we'll be paying off the house. Sounds like that will be a good time to sell and retire to our 46 ft catamaran in the caribbean.
The good news is that instead of my whole weekend being wrecked with sickness and being pathetic, its a 4 day weekend. I get a do over! 2 whole more days to go.
