We have decided to bite the bullet and go with the Peg Perego Pliko P3. After hours of online research we narrowed it down today with a visit to Buy Buy Baby. I was looking at the Maclaren's and even the Bugaboo (who pays $700 for a stroller! Especially with some of the horrible reviews it gets???). After all the reviews I decided it was most likely going to be the PP but I wanted to see one and actually test drive it.
By the end of Kid #1 I loathed the stroller. Totally adequate for what we paid but it was just making me miserable. It was too short for someone with a LONG torso like me and hard to manuever. Just sticky wheeled. Plus it started to just fall apart. So I was on a mission. All I had to do was push the PP around the store for a second and I knew. This was the one. Who knew a stroller could bring such joy ;)
Adjustable handles, cupholder, stands on its own when folded, a step in the back for the girl to ride along when she's tired ... and best of all we found this $299 stroller online for $209 - NO Shipping and NO taxes. I know its just a stroller but considering the girl just gave hers up about 6 months ago ... I think I can amortize it over 4 years and be very happy with my investment. Daddy took a little convincing but not as much as I thought he would.
I get it. I am with child. But what may I ask is up with the indigestion? WHY? I don't get it. I eat something - anything - and I have instant indigestion. Lay down ... indigestion. What's with that? The baby is only the size of a lime to a lemon. Why is that's causing gastrointestinal distress? I need to buy stock in tums. I will take this over the nausea and vomiting though ... so I'll stop complaining.
